What contracts do you offer?
The Elite Brokerage offers several contract types. These contracts can be customized to fit the needs of your agency and help you grow to the next level. Contracts we offer include:
How long does it take to get contracted and start selling?
Each carrier is different in terms of contracting and approvals. Some carriers are Just-in-Time (JIT) and require business to be submitted before you can complete the contracting process. Others may require you to take training or complete certifications before you are contracted. However, at The Elite Brokerage, we have a streamlined contracting process in place that allows you to focus on your clients and grow your agency while we take care of all the contracting.
What is a CRM?
CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management and refers to the database used to track your clients and their information. We can provide your agency with access to an innovative CRM that allows you to track consumer data like never before. Our CRM is completely customizable to your agency and is fully HIPAA and CMS-compliant.
What is CPA?
CPA refers to the Cost-Per-Acquisition which is an essential metric to track for your agency's overall financial stability.
Which financial metrics should I be monitoring?
Whether your agency has one agent or 100 agents, there are certain financial metrics you should pay attention to each day. These include:
What is the Release Process?
The release process is different depending on the contract(s) and agreement(s) you will be releasing from. However, the process is typically straightforward. There are two types of releases, an Immediate Release (IR) and a Notice of Intent to Transfer (NIT).
An IR happens when your FMO willingly signs paperwork to release you from your contract. A NIT happens when your FMO will not sign to release you from your contract. In this case, you will begin the process of self-release. There is a typically 90-day waiting period when you go this route, and you may be subject to internal restrictions with carriers depending on your situation.
Can I get a release from my upline?
Yes. It is not uncommon to be released from your upline and many will allow for an Immediate Release if you are in good standing with the FMO. However, before initiating the release, it is recommended that you speak with your new FMO to determine exactly what paperwork they will require from you.
What is a carrier "black out" period?
Carrier “black out” periods are times during the year when carriers will not process releases. Each carrier is different, so understanding when you would be affected is essential when searching for a new FMO.
Do I need a post-sales journey?
Yes. A post sales journey is an essential part of your business operations. The post-sales journey may look different depending on the client or product sold. However, the main goal is customer retention. A successful post-sales journey should include:
Do I need E&O coverage?
Yes. E&O insurance is necessary in the event a client claims your work was fraudulent or inaccurate. Additionally, most carriers require you to hold E&O coverage to be contracted with them.
What is a Field Marketing Operation (FMO)?
An FMO assists agencies with the resources and support necessary for their business to succeed. We provide guidance and transparency to ensure our agencies understand how to increase production and obtain higher levels of contracts.
